One to One Appointments

Investigative Study
Time frame: 3 weeks
This study focuses on the validity of God’s Word, His purpose for our life, and the basic teachings of the Bible. Want to understand what Christians really believe, the basis of these beliefs, and the role of Jesus the Christ in life and eternity? Consider making this study a priority.

Concentrating on the Majors
Time frame: 10 to 15 weeks
The second study covers the assurance of salvation, God’s forgiveness, knowing God and the lordship of Christ. Spending time focusing on things of eternal significance can revolutionize your life.

Small Groups
Time Frame: Monday through Friday morning
The staff of YBL can be found in prayer, in accountability, and in fellowship with groups of businessmen at various locations around the city.

Accountability Group
Time frame: Determined by group
The cornerstone of YBL’s ministry is the long-term, laymen-led accountability group. Once you’ve completed the two foundational studies, these groups provide a source of friendships, personal accountability, camaraderie, help with difficult issues, and encouragement to help you deal with the challenges you face in the marketplace as well as your personal life. Several of these groups in which men are challenged and taught about Jesus Christ and His plan for daily living have been
together for over 15 years.

Whether your issues are balancing career and family, starting or losing a business, selecting the right career path, or dealing with personal situations our mentoring program will connect you with a seasoned godly man whose wisdom and experience can help you see things in biblical perspective. Quarterly Dinner Banquets
Businessman Adolf Coors IV, Heisman trophy winners Danny Wuerffel and Charlie Ward, former Congressmen Steve Largent and Jim Ryan, CEO of Southern Company David Ratcliffe, professional golfer Larry Mize, and Chick-fil-A COO Dan Cathy are among the Christian speakers who have been featured at the quarterly YBL banquets. Invitations are extended to more than 2,800 businessmen and their guests to hear a dynamic speaker who has achieved prominence in his profession. These well-attended events provide a non-threatening environment for introducing colleagues to the Young Business Leaders’ ministry. Our banquets provide a safe environment for you to hear the inside story of a nationally recognized industry leader in business, sports, and politics along with the gospel.
